We are sad to hear that Jaggerspun must close their doors in 2025. We have a fairly large stock of cones and skeins. You can order what is out of stock, if we can't get it we'll let you know.  As colors become unavailable, we will remove them from our website.  The listing for 50-gram skeins and 100-gram cones of this same yarn are listed below:

This yarn is spun in Springvale Maine. Light and lustrous, it is made from 50% Merino wool and 50% Chinese Tussah silk.  

This listing for 1-lb Zephyr Cones is for the 2-ply lace weight (2/18) yarn. We also provide the same yarn on 100-gram cones and 50-gram skeins.   

We do not stock a large number of full 1-lb cones (number in stock is shown below each color). We can normally get any listed color to you within 7 days. 

Discontinued colors that we still have in stock will have an asterisk after the color.

Lace Weight (5,040 yds in a 1-lb cone)

Weaving Setts - varies, normally plain weave 18-20; twill 22-28

Knitting gauge - varies, normally use larger needle (size 1-4) for lace.  May use sizes 000-1 for closely knit stockinette.

Washing Instructions: Hand wash in lukewarm water using a fiber wash with minimal agitation.  Air dry.  

The dyed silk is not as resistant to fading as the wool; it is recommended that items made with the yarn not be exposed to strong natural or artificial light for long periods
