Collection: Lofty Pillow Soft Organic

This organic cotton, thick boucle yarn is perfect for blankets and thick towels woven on multi-shaft and rigid heddle looms.  At 1200 yards per pound, a sett of 8 ends per inch is generally recommended.   We call is Pillow Soft for a reason! This cotton is part of the new LoftyFiber cotton line featuring US grown, spun and dyed cotton yarn.   We are adding new colors every few months.  

Our cotton is wound onto cones in 1-lb (1-lb (1200 yds), 8-oz (600 yds) and 4-oz (300 yds). 

Typical weaving setts: Plain weave at 8 epi for a drapey shawl, 10 or 12 for firmer fabric; Twills 12 epi; Also pairs beautifully as weft with our 8/4 cotton in the warp at a sett of 10 epi on plain weave.
