These 3D printed quills are an alternative to the cardboard or paper quills. Especially when using an electric double ended winder, cardboard quills can start to warp after a number of uses. These 3D printed quills are much stronger and will not easily bend. These come in assorted colors.
We've designed a short section on each end that has threading, similar to a screw, that makes it much easier to start winding by reducing slippage. The flared ends make it easier to wind with double ended winders.
The 4.5" Quills work with the 11" Schacht and Leclerc Boat Shuttles
The 5.25" Quills work with the mini Flying Dutchman.
The 5.75" Quills work with the full size Flying Dutchman
