A wonderful pattern by Veronique Perrot. Let the sun shine in with this cheerful baby blanket! This is a weaving pattern with all the information necessary to weave two baby blankets in Summer and Winter weave on an 8 shaft loom. For the pattern weft, Veronique uses 5 colors of 3/2 cotton. Veronique used Gist Yarn's 3/2 organic cotton Beam.  Another option is to use 3/2 Mercerized Cotton.   The ground cloth is 4 colors of 8/2 Cottolin.  The color order is indicated, but you can come up with your own combinations or use leftover yarn from other projects.

You will need an eight shaft loom with a 12 dent reed and two shuttles. The draft is written for a 40" loom, but can be easily modified for a 36" loom.

The draft is written using a skeleton tie-up. Both the standard tie-up and treadling, and a modified tie-up with walking treadling.  WIF files are not included with this pattern.
