Learn to weave on a rigid heddle loom. You will set up the loom for weaving using the direct warping method and learn the basics of terminology, planning projects and weaving.

The project will be a small towel woven with Lofty 8/4 Cotton.  Materials are included; choose your own colors at the start of the class.   

The class begins at 9:30 AM on Friday December 11th and ends at 4pm, and continues on Saturday from 9:30 AM until you are finished, or until 1pm. 

Looms are provided.  Please let us know if you plan to bring your own loom; a 10-dent rigid heddle reed is required for this class.  

Requirements:  Weaving is physically demanding. Must be able to stand, sit, bend and reach for extended periods without difficulty. Ages 13 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
