Louet Jane 8-shaft Table Loom - 40, 50, 70
Loom Ships free to US and Canadian addresses.
The Louet Jane is offered in three weaving widths, 40cm (15 3/4”), 50cm (19.7") or 70cm (27 5/8”). All Jane looms have 8 shafts. The 40cm loom comes with 200 heddles, the 50 cm with 300 and the 70cm with 400. The loom comes with a 10-dent reed, lease sticks and 16 warp-separator sticks.
This loom is truly lightweight and portable at only 10.5kg (23lbs) for the Jane 40 and 14kg (31 lbs) for the Jane 70. Jane folds down to a height of only 14cm (5 ½”) for ease of transport or storage. The Jane 40 and 50 looms have a carrying handle. The overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle. Jane is made of lacquered beech and has a built-in raddle. We also offer raddle covers as well as our larger LoftyFiber raddle that snaps onto the built-in raddle when using dense warps.
Jane is delivered partially unassembled with instructions to complete the assembly and add the texsolv heddles. Expect assembly to take a few hours. We also offer assembly as an option, but no shipping is offered on the assembled loom. Contact us if you want to discuss a pick-up for an assembled Jane and perhaps take a class at our studio learning to weave with your new Jane.
