Product Description
You’ve heard of Log Cabin Quilting, but did you know about Log Cabin Knitting? This is a great stash busting project. You can knit individual blocks and then join them together or you could just start in the middle and keep going until you are tired of knitting it.
Supplies: Bring as many, as you would like, colors of scrap yarns in the same weight, and the appropriately sized needle for the project. I would recommend a circular needle of at least 24 inches long. Locking stitch marker.
Homework: Cast on 10 stitches. Knit for 19 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) You will have 10 garter ridges on the right side. Place locking stitch marker in the middle of this square and leave the stitches on the needle.
This class is taught by Judy Rising. The class runs from 10am to 1pm on Friday Feb 20, 2026, at LoftyFiber. The fee $40.00 and fee must be paid in advance to reserve your spot.
