This yarn is spun in Springvale Maine by Jaggerspun from super fine Australian wool.  It is a soft, elegant yarn that has traditionally been used in creating garments of the highest quality. 

This yarn also felts beautifully, and makes soft felted garments, such as scarves, that are a pleasure to be worn close to the skin.

For a beautiful woven tartan throw or scarf, use this yarn set at 24 to 28 epi with a 2/2 Twill. 

This is a 2/18 (2-ply) laceweight yarn.  It is the same size as the Zephyr 2/18 Lace; the only difference is this is 100% merino and does not have the silk.

Washing Instructions: Dry-clean or hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
