Skill level: Beginner (no prior experience necessary)

This is a hands-on class that allows the student to go through all the steps of warping a loom (winding the warp chain, spreading in the raddle, beaming, threading, sleying the reed and tying the warp on) and then weaving two small towels.
The class runs from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday through Thursday. If needed, the class can run through Friday to finish the weaving. Breaks can be taken as needed.
The student will weave a basket weave and twill towel with 8/4 cotton. The student chooses their own colors. Materials are included.
This class is limited to 2 students.
Requirements: Must be up to physical challenges. Weaving is a physical activity and involves standing for periods, sitting, bending and reaching. Ages 13 and over - minors must be accompanied at all times by a guardian.
