SKI SHUTTLES: made for medium to heavy yarn or rags, this special shuttle has the yarn wrapped horizontally around it so it slides easily in the warp.
The very long 27 1/2" shuttle will hold a significant quantity of heavy yarn or fabric strips. It's great for rep weave and rugs.
The shorter version (17 3/4") is wonderful for thicker weft yarns such as 8/8 cotton.
