Schacht Wolf Pup Looms (18" Weaving Width)

Here is a little loom you can easily take anywhere with you. The 18” weaving width is ideal for workshops and for all those other narrow projects.

Schacht has used the same sturdy X-frame, bolt and barrel-nut construction for our Wolf Pup looms as used for other Wolf Looms. The Pup looms also have the same components as the other Wolf looms: steel hub friction brake, brake release foot pedal, aluminum harness channels, and an attached beater pin. 

The most basic model has 4 shafts and 4 direct tie treadles. The Wolf Pup LT  (4 shafts, 6 treadles) features jacks and lamms that allow any harness to be tied to any of its six treadles, in whatever combination your weave structure requires.  The Wolf Pup 8.10 has 8 shafts and 10 treadles for almost unlimited pattern options.

This loom comes standard with:

• 1 Stainless Steel Reed of your choice (6,8,10,12,or 15 dents per inch)
• 2 lease sticks
• 3 apron rods
• 300 (4 shaft) or 600 (8 shaft) stainless steel inserted eye heddles
• 1 brass reed hook
• 2 caster wheels

The 4-shaft Wolf Pups fold up to a depth of only 16 inches. The attached wheels automatically engage when the loom is in the folded position. The Wolf Pup LT weighs just 40 pounds and can be sent via UPS.

The Wolf Pup 8.10 is  compact with a foot print of just 28” wide x 35 ½” deep. It’s a powerful performer with big loom features in a pint-sized loom.

TempoTreadle  sensor arrays are available free with the purchase of any of these looms from LoftyFiber.  You only need to have, or purchase, the TempoTreadle System Unit.  Consider adding a high castle tray, especially if using TempoTreadle.
