Curious about Color Comparisons for Lofty Cotton?

Curious about Color Comparisons for Lofty Cotton?

Many of you are familiar with Brassard Cotton and Euroflax colors, so we've put together some comparisons for you.  The large cones are 1-lb Lofty Cotton in 8/2.  The small tubes are 8-oz Brassard 8/2 cotton.

Starting with Cherry Red (bottom), it's almost exactly like Brassard's Cerise (top).

Lofty Turquoise Blue is almost an exact match for Brassard's Peacock.

Key Lime is a great match for Brassard's Limette Pale.

The Lofty Cotton Gold matches Brassard Vieil Or.

Lofty Cotton Charcoal is similar, but a little warmer than the Brassard Charcoal.

Lofty Cotton Timberwolf is similar, but a little lighter than Brassard Gris Fonce.

Lofty Cotton Fir Green is very similar to Brassard Vert Fonce (top).

Cayenne is named and looks the very similar!

Lofty Cotton's Mojito Mint doesn't have a match with Brassard.  The closest in hue is Sapin, but Mojito Mint is lighter.

Cobalt is a match to Euroflax's Cobalt.  The closest we see in the Brassard line is the Royal shown in the middle.

Lofty Cotton currently has one yellow,  Lemon Yellow. Lemon Yello is on the left, middle top is Brassard Jaune Fonce, middle bottom is Brassard Jaune Pale, and on the right is Euroflax Buttercup.

The LoftyCotton Magenta is quite a bit different than Brassard's Magenta. We think it's a truer Magenta.

Lofty Cotton's Amethyst closest match in the Brassard line is Mauve Pale.  We love Amethyst and are thinking about introducing it into the Euroflax line.  We'd love to know if you agree!

Cloud Grey is another shared color in the Lofty Cotton (middle) and Euroflax line (right).  The closest match in Brassard is Gris Pale (left).

Lofty Cotton's new Soft Pink has similarity to the Euroflax Soft Coral (right).  The closest pink in the Brassard line is Rose Pale (left).

LoftyCotton is now available in a pale blue we call Powder Blue.  In the middle is Brassard's Chambray, and on the right Euroflax Lake Placid.

Limestone is one of our all-time favorites.  It seems to go with everything!  There's nothing very close in the Brassard line.  It's pictured here with Seaton.  Limestone in Euroflax is on the right.

You can be confident to mix Brassard 8/2, 8/4 and Boucle along with the Lofty Cottons.  Also, not pictured here are White and Black.  The Natural does not have the flecks of darker color in the Lofty Cotton line.
