Product Description

This soft cotton, boucle has a lovely thick and thin texture. It's suitable for knitting (DK weight) and weaving and provides a lovely texture. The yarn is 60% organic and 40% non-organic cotton.

A 1-lb cone has approximately 1200 yards; an 8-oz cone has approximately 600 yards and a 4-oz cone 300 yards.

A balanced plain weave is obtained with 10 epi. We like setting it at 12 epi and using a thinner weft yarn such as 16/1 linen or 8/2 cotton. This makes a lovely fabric for towels and garments.
