Pismo Scarf by Felecia O'Connell

There is a rustic quality to the Woven Stitch, not unlike a paved but well-worn passageway in an old-world village. Felecia wanted to take the idea of a rustic roadway a little further, so Felecia combined the fairly dense Woven Stitch with an easy lace stitch that when blocked, opens up to form rounded rectangular “cobblestone” shapes. Combining the two types of stitches in one garment showcases the versatile nature of linen, which can be used to create a fabric that’s solid, airy, or both at the same time.

Euroflax Linen, #2 Fine / Sport Weight

Shown in Navy (MC) and French Blue (CC); 1 skein of each color.  Note - French Blue is a discontinued color. Lake Placid would make a lovely combination with Navy.

Needles 
US 5 3.75 mm needles, or size to make gauge

Gauge 
22 Sts and 20 Rows = 4” square in Woven Stitch (stitch pattern #1), lightly blocked.
