Alpaca-Silk Block Scarf Pattern - PDF and WIF

This scarf uses two colors. The 3-wide color blocks in the warp have a middle block created by holding one of each the two warp colors for a simple, but effective color-and-weave effect.  This listing is for a digital download of the PDF pattern and WIF file.

Weave Structure: Twill, requires 8 shaft loom with minimum weaving width of 12 inches,   240 warp ends, 30 heddles per shaft. 

Sett:  20 epi (sley 2 per dent in a 10-dent reed)

Warp Length: 3 yards

Finished Size: 69 x 11 ¼” + fringe

Warp:400 yards Black 2/14 Alpaca Silk, 400 yards Light Grey, 2/14 Alpaca Silk

Weft: 460 yards Black 2/14 Alpaca Silk, 160  yards Light Grey, 2/14 Alpaca Silk

2/14 Alpaca Silk has 1736 yards per 8-oz cone. One cone of each color is enough for 2 scarves.
