Euroflax Cram and Dent Scarf Pattern

The inspiration for this project came from the Jane Stafford guild episode on cramming and denting with linen in Season 3!  This project is woven with Euroflax 14/2 linen.  If you’ve never tried this technique, it’s really fun and I love the result.  

This project is for a scarf, but this cloth design could be wonderful for curtains and table runners.

Structure: Plain Weave

Sett: variable, averages about 14.5 epi

Shafts: 2 or more

Width in Reed: 13.2 inches

Reed:  10-dent (sleying instructions in pattern)

Warp Length: 3 yards

Finished Size:  11.5” wide by 68” long

Warp Yarn: Euroflax 14/2 in 3 colors.  Color A - 264 yds, Color B – 234 yds, Color C – 78 yds.

Weft Yarn:  Euroflax 14/2  in one or more colors.  Total 420 yds.
