Weaving Yarn Kit - Rigid Heddle - Olive Garden Tunic

We wove Judith Shangold’s lovely Olive Garden Tunic pattern from her book, Weave Knit Wear, in Euroflax Linen on a Rigid Heddle Loom. This book is a “must” in every weaver’s library. The yarn kit includes the following colors (on cones):
o Heron Grey 14/4 (Color A) 8 oz
o Olive 14/4 (Color B) 4 oz
o Wasabi 14/4 (Color C) 4 oz
o Natural 14/4 (Color D) 2 oz
o Black 14/2 (Color E) 1 oz

We don't include the pattern, but we do include tips for working with linen and a detailed printout of the warping color order for each size.

Judith does an excellent job of explaining techniques for weaving and knitting; the book is full of excellent diagrams that are wonderful for the new weaver and knitter. Not only does the book have excellent projects, but it has tips and techniques for you to design your own garments or variations. Not all of the projects require any knitting; if desired, you can leave off the knitted sleeves from the Olive Garden Tunic.

Equipment: Rigid Heddle Loom with a 10-dent reed and at least 10” weaving width, US 6 24” circular knitting needles, sewing needles, 5 stick shuttles.
