Jaggerspun Mousam Falls 4/14 Sock Yarn - 100 Gram

Not just for socks! Our 100% Superwash treated Merino Lambswool in heather shades works up to make not only socks, but heirloom quality sweaters, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and shawls.  Great for children’s clothing. It's not only for knitting and crochet, but also a very nice yarn for weaving.

[Ecru is 90% Superwash wool, and 10% nylon.]

Garments made from our sock yarn will endure innumerable machine washings and dryings.

This yarn is very soft yet hardwearing in the 4-ply Merino Lambswool.   Jagger has a history of providing high end sock yarns to commercial firms producing wool socks, so they know how to make a great sock yarn!   

The colors include a number that are great for men's handknitted socks that are typically hard to find.

For knitting, this yarn would normally use a US size 3 needle for a gauge of 7 stitches per inch.

This fingering weight (4/14) yarn is packaged in 100-gram skeins and has approximately 435 yards.  

Washing Instructions: Machine wash using any laundry soap or detergent. Tumble Dry.  Launder dark colors separately.
