Jaggerspun Zephyr 4/8 DK - 50gm Skeins
Zephyr is truly a luxury yarn. Light and lustrous, it is made from 50% Merino wool and 50% Chinese Tussah silk. The yarn takes on a beautiful sheen and is very popular with weavers and fiber artists. Hand knitters have also discovered this yarn for softness, sheen and drapiness. The yarn comes in a laceweight (2/18) and a DK weight (4/8).
This product listing is for 50 gram skeins in the 4-ply DK weight (4/8). Although labeled as worsted weight, this is closer to a light worsted/DK weight yarn. Note that the color selection pictures show the 2-ply yarn laceweight version.

Knitting Gauge 5 to 5.5 stitches per inch per inch on needle size 5.
Washing Instructions: Handwash in a mild detergent or wool wash such as SOAK using minimal agitation, roll in towels to remove excess water then lay flat to air dry.
The dyed silk is not as resistant to fading as the wool; it is recommended that items made with the yarn not be exposed to strong natural or artificial light for long periods.
