Euroflax - Long Line Linen

Euroflax is a long line linen yarn made out of flax-fiber grown in the damp ocean climate and rich soil of Belgium. The fiber is called “long line” because the plant , growing more than 3 feet tall, produces long fibers that are preserved in the yarn by the unsurpassed skill and capabilities of a Belgium mill that has been in operation for generations. The combination of the unique growing environment and unmatched skill in spinning conspire to produce the finest linen yarn in the world. The yarn is double-boiled and steam-processed to produce the look and feel we've know and loved as Euroflax for over 20 years.

Why is linen yarn so amazing?

  • Linen is intrinsically hypo-allergenic and anti-bacterial.
  • Linen is durable, will not stretch, and is resistant to abrasion
  • Linen softens the more it is used and washed
  • It can withstand high temperatures.
  • It's even stronger when wet than when dry.
  • Linen can absorb moisture without holding bacteria.
  • Linen's heat regulating quality is due to the pectin in it's fiber.
  • Linen can retain up to 20% of it's weight in water without feeling damp.
